Synopsis[]

Plot[]

Ruby had reoccurring dreams while she was at Thurmond about being old and then time going in reverse. She would become a child as her view of the fast moving world changed. She no longer dreams about who she used to be or reclaiming what she lost.

On a mission with the Children’s League, Ruby uses her ability on a guard. The rest of the team is lead by Rob Meadows into the bunker and Vida and Ruby are told to stay behind. It isn’t long before Vida Bautista is ready to go down and help the others, but Ruby stops her with her seniority just before some sort of explosion goes off right where Vida was heading. Another guard comes after them and Ruby tries to fight him off before using her ability on him. Vida throws him off Ruby and they start to move. They see three more guards with a hooded prisoner. Ruby thinks it is their objective, Prisoner 27, and agrees to take all the blame if they are unsuccessful. They successfully rescue Cole Stewart.

When they arrive back at HQ, Ruby and Vida are surprised Jude isn’t there to greet them like usual. Vida is relieved and takes off. Ruby goes to check in with Cate, but can’t find her. She finds Jude and Nico in the atrium, worrying about their friend Blake Howard, since he had been sent on a mission. They think the mission was assigned because the three of them had heard Rbo and a couple other League adults having a conversation about getting Alban back on track and getting rid of the freaks.
