Mrs. Port was Ruby Elizabeth Daly teacher at her elementary school. She tried to keep the news of IAAN from her students, by blaming IAAN caused disturbances on other things. (When Josh Preston passed out on the playground, she blamed it on not having sugar in his system). When Grace Somerfield died, however, she no longer blames it on other things, as she realized this was no longer believable.
